Carson Beck replaces Will Levis in Dan Brugler's latest 2025 NFL mock draft
Joshua L. Jones-USA TODAY NETWORK

The 2025 NFL Draft is a year away, but it's never too early for a mock draft.

The Athletic's draft analyst Dan Brugler shared his first on many mocks following the 2024 draft and has Georgia's Carson Beck going off the board at No. 2 overall.

In this one, Brugler sends Beck to the Tennessee Titans to take over Will Levis's starting job, pending a terrible season, of course:

If the Titans are drafting this high next April, the organization might be re-examining its quarterback situation.

In his first year as a starter, Beck got consistently better with each performance and put some beautiful throws on tape. He enters the season as the quarterback scouts like the most.

Beck led the Bulldogs to their third straight undefeated last season as he threw for 3,941 passing yards and 24 touchdowns.

He's not going to have big weapons in Brock Bowers or Ladd McConkey this upcoming fall, however, he is still expected to produce those kinds of numbers with the guys remaining on the roster.

As for Levis, he enters his second season with the Titans. The former second-round pick in 2023 spent the first six games of his rookie year inactive before his number was called. Levis ended up starting nine games where he completed 149 of 255 passes for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns with four interceptions.

The Titans cleaned house earlier this year and set Levis up for success, so there's hope that they won't be drafting that high, but if they do, then Beck makes a lot of sense.
